M ō S a F London launched our walking map on 12th February 2022. The map outlines some of the people, places, businesses and institutions in our neighbourhood of Deptford which have strong historical links to enslavement and the fight for freedom.
Members of the public and local politicians turned up to help launch the map. Over 60 people attended to enjoy presentations by members of Mosaf and our partners Empathy & Risk and Looking Forward. The day included talks by artists interested in our theme and a screening of films about memory, loss and recovery. Our visitors were also treated to a buffet of Caribbean and West African food and drink.

Among the local politicians present on the day was the Deputy Major of Lewisham wearing her chain of office
